Majority of Texas School Systems Earn Top Ratings, Reflecting Financial Integrity and Accountability
AUSTIN, Texas – November 8, 2024 – The ˿Ƶ (TEA) today released final financial accountability ratings for Texas public school systems, with 83 percent earning an ‘A’ or Superior Achievement rating for the 2023-2024 school year. These school systems reflect a continued commitment to effective financial management practices so that they can best serve students.

Charter Applicants Vetted Through a Rigorous Application Process Before Recommendation and Consideration by the SBOE

The results include assessments in mathematics and reading-language arts (RLA) in grades 3-8, 5th and 8th grade science and 8th grade social studies.
